About Foodypants
Foodypants is a creative catering company based in Lancashire, providing food for weddings, private events and corporate occasions across the North West.
Our focus is simple: bold flavours, seasonal ingredients and generous food designed to bring people together.
From canapés and sharing feasts to large-scale celebrations, we believe the food should be one of the highlights of any event.
We were proud to be named Wedding Caterer of the Year – North West at The Wedding Industry Awards.

Founder – David Dewhurst
Foodypants was founded by chef David Dewhurst in 2013 with the aim of bringing restaurant-quality food to events of all kinds. It initially started as a pop-up restaurant in London whilst David was Head Chef in kitchens there. Fast forward a few years and Foodypants was brought to Rossendale in 2020.
David has spent more than 15 years working in kitchens across Manchester, London and Rome, developing a cooking style influenced by travel, seasonal produce and bold flavours.
After years working in restaurant kitchens, David set out to create a catering company that allowed more creativity and flexibility — designing bespoke menus for every event rather than offering fixed set menus.
Foodypants Philosophy
At Foodypants we believe great catering should feel generous, relaxed and memorable.
Rather than offering rigid set menus, we prefer to work with clients to design food that fits the event perfectly — whether that’s elegant canapés, relaxed sharing feasts or intimate private dining experiences.
Our aim is always the same: food that people talk about long after the event is over.
